Common Business Object

Common Business Objects (CBO) sind Elemente eines Rahmenwerks für Softwareschnittstellen. Sie sind eine Weiterentwicklung des BOCA-Rahmenwerks der Object Management Group, entwickelt im Jahr 1998.

CBO ist der einzige verabredete Industriestandard für Software-Schnittstellen. De facto haben sich aber SAP mit R/3 und IBM mit dem San Francisco Framework aufgrund ihrer Marktdurchdringung durchgesetzt.
