Ávvir (deutsch: Aufmerksamkeit) ist eine Zeitung, die in nordsamischer Sprache erscheint und in Finnland, Schweden und Norwegen vertrieben wird. Die Zeitung entstand durch die Fusion der beiden nordsamischen Zeitungen Min Áigi und Áššu.

Die Zeitung wird zur Zeit dreimal wöchentlich publiziert. Eine vier- bis fünfmalige Erscheinungsweise ist für die Zukunft vorgesehen.

Die erste Ausgabe der Ávvir erschien anlässlich des Samischen Nationaltages am 6. Februar 2008. Redaktionen der Zeitung befinden sich in den Ortschaften Kárášjohka und Guovdageaidnu.
