Unternehmensgeschichte

Die Wolseley Motor Company, die bisher Automobile unter eigenem Namen anbot, übernahm 1905 die Siddeley Autocar Company sowie dessen Konstrukteur John Davenport Siddeley. Fortan wurden die Fahrzeuge als Wolseley-Siddeley vermarktet. Ab 1910 wurde wieder der Markenname Wolseley verwendet, nachdem Siddeley das Unternehmen verlassen hatte.
