Te Paepae o Aotea, auch Volkner Rocks (nach Carl Sylvius Völkner), sind eine Gruppe von Andesit-Felsnadeln 5,2 km nordwestlich von Whakaari/White Island in Neuseeland's Bay of Plenty. Sie haben eine Gesamtfläche von rund 1,5 Hektar und erreichen eine Höhe von 113 m über dem Meeresspiegel. Sie sind von White Island durch bis zu 200 m tiefes Meer getrennt.

Die Inseln vulkanischen Ursprungs sind Teil der Taupo-Vulkanzone.

Das Gebiet um die Inseln wurde 2006 zum Schutzgebiet erklärt.[1] Es ist wegen der guten Sichtweiten von 35-40 m, der malerischen Kulisse und der Meeresbewohner bei Tauchern beliebt.
