Southeastern ist eine britische Bahnbetriebsgesellschaft.

Einsatzgebiet

Seit Dezember 2009 bietet Southeastern als erste Bahngesellschaft des Landes eine ausschließlich innerhalb Englands verkehrende Hochgeschwindigkeitsverbindung (und die zweite überhaupt nach dem Eurostar) über die Schnellfahrstrecke High Speed One an, die vom Bahnhof St Pancras in London nach Kent führt.[1] Sie nutzt dabei auch die Hauptstrecken South Eastern Main Line und Brighton Main Line.

Während der Olympischen Sommerspiele 2012 wird Southeastern ihre Züge der Klasse 395 unter dem Namen Javelin zusätzlich im Pendelverkehr von London St Pancras zum Olympiagelände nahe dem Bahnhof Stratford International einsetzen.[2]
