Rhuddlan Castle (auch Rhyddlan) ist eine Burgruine in Wales, die sich in der Stadt Rhuddlan im Norden des Landkreises und der Grafschaft Denbighshire befindet. Das Statut von Rhuddlan wurde auf der Burg erlassen.

Rhuddlan gehört zu einer Reihe von Burgen, die von James of St. George im Auftrag Eduards I. von England konstruiert wurden. Zusammen mit Flint Castle war Rhuddlan eine der ersten in dieser Reihe von Trutzburgen. Ihr Bau begann 1277.

Die baulichen Elemente sind ähnlich wie in anderen walisischen Burgen des 13. Jahrhunderts: Eine Ringmauer umgibt einen viereckigen Burghof, dessen Mauern mit runden Wehrtürmen befestigt sind. Die Lage der beiden Torhäuser ist eine Besonderheit dieser Burg, sie liegen an gegenüberliegenden Ecken des Burghofs. Ein Torhaus in Ecklage findet sich auch in der aus der gleichen Zeit stammenden Burg Aberystwyth Castle, ist sonst aber untypisch. Jedes der beiden Tore von Rhuddlan ist von zwei runden Türmen flankiert. Zusammen mit den beiden anderen Ecktürmen hat die Burg daher sechs Türme. Diese Kernburg ist von einer zweiten, niedrigeren Ringmauer umgeben.[1]
