Raed Saleh

Raed Saleh (* 10. Juni 1977 in Sebastia, Westjordanland) ist ein Berliner Politiker (SPD). Er ist seit 2006 Mitglied des Abgeordnetenhauses.

Leben, Studium, Beruf

Raed Saleh ist verheiratet. Er besuchte die Grundschule am Birkenhain in Berlin-Spandau und die Lily-Braun-Oberschule in Berlin-Spandau, die er 1997 mit dem Abitur abschloss.
1994 stieg er in die Mitrovski Fast Food GmbH ein, 1997 in deren Betriebsführung. Von 2001 bis 2006 war Raed Saleh leitender Angestellter der Unternehmensgruppe Mitrovski. Seit 2002 ist er Mitinhaber einer Spandauer Medienfirma.[1]

Politik

1995 trat Raed Saleh in die SPD ein. Er ist seit 2002 Vorsitzender der Arbeitsgemeinschaft Migration der SPD Spandau, Mitglied des Landesvorstandes der AG Migration und Mitglied des Kreisvorstandes der SPD Spandau. Seit 2006 arbeitet er im Abgeordnetenhaus in den Ausschüssen für "Jugend, Bildung und Familie", "Stadtentwicklung und Verkehr" und "Integration, Arbeit und Soziales" mit und ist Ansprechpartner der SPD-Fraktion für die Bereiche "Soziale Stadt" und Quartiersverfahren , sowie integrationspolitischer Sprecher der SPD-Fraktion. Im April 2008 wurde Read Saleh als Kreisvorsitzender der SPD Spandau gewählt und ist Mitglied im SPD-Landesvorstand. Bei der Abgeordnetenhauswahl in Berlin 2006 erlangte er ein Direktmandat über den Wahlkreis Spandau 2.[1]
