Die Software wird in Deutschland, Österreich, Schweiz, Italien, Spanien und Brasilien eingesetzt.[1] Die größten Installationen umfassen ca. 800 Arbeitsplätze.

Technische Basis

Projectile basiert auf dem Business-Software-Framework BSM und Opensource-Bibliotheken. Implementierungssprache ist Java. Darüber hinaus existieren Bindings für JavaScript. Als Datenbank kann über JDBC MySQL, Oracle oder MS-SQL genutzt werden. Die WebGUI nutzt Apache Tomcat als Servlet-Container. Die AJAX-GUI Elemente wurden mittels extjs entwickelt.

Eine API ist momentan nur für den Time-Tracker in Form von Web-Services auf der Basis von Apache Axis verfügbar. Andere Module lassen sich prinzipiell ebenfalls als Web-Service nutzbar machen. Dies wird im Rahmen des Lisog-Stack Integrationsprojektes geschehen.
