Platinum Games, Inc. (jap. プラチナゲームズ株式会社, kabushiki-gaisha Purachinagēmuzu, engl. Platinum Games Inc.) ist ein japanisches Spielentwicklungsunternehmen. Es wurde im August 2006 unter dem Namen Seeds, Inc. von Shinji Mikami, Atsushi Inaba und Hideki Kamiya, ehemaligen Mitarbeitern von Capcom's Clover Studio, gegründet. Im März 2007 löste Capcom das Clover Studio auf und alle Rechte am den vom Studio entwickelten Serien, wie z.B. Viewtiful Joe, God Hand und Ōkami, verblieben bei Capcom. Ein Großteil des ehemaligen Clover Studio-Teams schloss sich dann als neues Entwicklungsstudio zusammen. Im Oktober 2007 fusionierte Seeds, Inc. mit ODD Inc. und änderte den Namen auf Platinum Games.

Das erfolgreichste Spiel von Platinum ist Bayonetta mit ungefähr 1,66 Millionen abgesetzten Kopien. Insgesamt konnten sich alle Spiele von Platinum zusammengerechnet 2,99 Millionen mal verkaufen.
