Leonard James Olivier SVD (* 12. Oktober 1923 in Lake Charles) ist emeritierter Weihbischof in Washington.

Leben

Leonard James Olivier trat der Ordensgemeinschaft der Steyler Missionare bei und empfing am 29. Juni 1951 die Priesterweihe.

Johannes Paul II. ernannte ihn am 10. November 1988 zum Weihbischof in Washington und Titularbischof von Legia. Der Erzbischof von Washington James Aloysius Kardinal Hickey weihte ihn am 20. Dezember desselben Jahres zum Bischof; Mitkonsekratoren waren Eugene Antonio Marino SSJ, Erzbischof von Atlanta, und Alvaro Corrada del Rio SJ, Weihbischof in Washington.

Am 18. Mai 2004 nahm Papst Johannes Paul II. seinen altersbedingten Rücktritt an.
