John McCoy (Bassist)

John McCoy ist ein britischer Hardrock-Bassist.

McCoy spielte seit 1960 in unterschiedlichen Bands, darunter mit Gillan und Mammoth, und war auf zahllosen Platten verschiedenster Künstler und Bands wie Ian Gillan, Colin Towns und Samson zu hören. Kurzzeitig hatte er eine eigene Band, die den Namen McCoy trug.

Markenzeichen ist – neben seinem Gewicht – Glatze, markanter Bart sowie eine Sonnenbrille.
