Die Cathedral of Saint Paul ist eine römisch-katholische Kathedrale in St. Paul, Minnesota. Zusammen mit der Basilica of Saint Mary in Minneapolis ist sie Sitz der Erzdiözese von Saint Paul und Minneapolis. Sie ist auf dem Summit Hill oberhalb der Innenstadt von St. Paul gelegen und verfügt über eine kupferkaschierte Kuppel. Diese ist 53 Meter hoch und hat einen Durchmesser von 29 Metern.

Angeregt durch den Erzbischof John Ireland wurde im Jahre 1904 mit den Planungen für eine neue Kathedrale begonnen. Nachdem der französische Architekt Emmanuel Masqueray diese abgeschlossen hatte, konnte 1906 der Bau beginnen. Masqueray orientierte sich dabei an der Architektur der französischen Renaissance aus dem 16. Jahrhundert. Zudem war es ihm ein Anliegen, dass alle Besucher einen freien Blick auf die Kanzel und den Altar haben sollten. 1915 konnten die ersten Gottesdienste in der neu erbauten Kathedrale abgehalten werden. Bis zu seinem Tode 1917 war es Masqueray allerdings nicht möglich, die Gestaltung des Innenbereiches der Kathedrale abschließen, welches in den folgenden Jahren von anderen Künstlern übernommen wurde. Die Kuppel erhielt ihre heutigen Bemalungen und Verzierungen mit Blattgold erst während der Renovierungen in den 1950er Jahren.

In den Ecken des Kirchenschiffes stehen die Stauen von vier Evangelisten. Die sechs Kapellen sind jeweils einem Schutzpatron der katholischen Kirche gewidmet. Dabei sollen die Patrone an ersten Siedler aus Europa in der Gegend erinnern: Antonius von Padua an die Italiener, Patrick von Irland an die Iren, Johannes der Täufer an die Franzosen, Bonifatius an die Deutschen sowie Kyrill von Saloniki und Method von Saloniki an die Slawen. Therese von Lisieux steht für die Missionare.

1974 wurde die Kathedrale in die Liste der National Register of Historic Places der Vereinigten Staaten aufgenommen. 1987 wurden fünf bronzene Kirchenglocken aus Frankreich erworben, welche die veraltete Glocke ersetzten. Die kupferne Kuppel wurde 2002 renoviert.
