Hangu (Pakistan)

Hangu ist eine Stadt in Pakistan. Sie liegt in der Provinz Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.[1]

Bei der Volkszählung 1998 lebten in Hangu 29986 Personen und 2010 wurde die Einwohnerschaft auf 31290 Personen geschätzt.[2]

Geschichte

Am 26. Mai 2011 kamen in Hangu bei einem Selbstmordanschlag auf eine Polizeistation 24 Menschen ums Leben. 45 wurden verletzt.[1]
