Der Goulburn River ist ein Fluss im Osten des australischen Bundesstaates New South Wales. Er entspringt östlich von Mudgee, fließt nach Osten und mündet in der Nähe der Kleinstadt Denman in den Hunter River.[2]
Der Fluss durchströmt eine wilde, dünn besiedelte Gegend, die zum größten Teil zum Goulburn-River-Nationalpark erklärt wurde. Seine wichtigsten Nebenflüsse sind der Widden Brook, der Krui River und der Merriwa River.
1823 erforschte der Entdecker William Lawson den Goulburn River. Er benannte ihn nach Henry Goulburn, einem britischen Politiker in den 1820er-Jahren.
