Gerry Francis Ridsdale

Gerry Francis Ridsdale (* 1934) ist ein australischer Priester, der seine Position ausnutzte, um Kinder sexuell zu missbrauchen. Seine Vergehen zählen zu den bekannteren Fällen von sexuellem Missbrauch in der römisch-katholischen Kirche in Australien.

Bischof Ronald Austin Mulkearns war seit 1975 über die Probleme mit Ridsale informiert. Ridsdale wurde in mehrere Gemeinden versetzt. Im Jahre 1994 wurde Ridsdale verurteilt. Er wurde des Missbrauchs in 46 Fällen mit 21 Opfern in einem Zeitraum von zwei Jahrzehnten schuldig befunden. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6]
