Fertile ist ein kleines Dorf im Worth County im Bundesstaat Iowa, USA. Es hat rund 360 Einwohner (Stand: 2000) auf einer Fläche von 147,8 Quadratkilometern.

Fertile wurde 1789 von einem Holländer gegründet. In Fertile gibt es noch viele Maisbauern und ein kleinen Bach, der durch die Felder und durch den Wald fließt.

Jedes Jahr findet in Fertile ein Fahrradrennen statt, an dem Radfahrvereine aus dem ganzen Bundesstaat teilnehmen und das von rund 6.000 Zuschauern besucht wird. Fertile hat zusammen mit Hanlontown ein Fahrradverein mit 16 Mitgliedern. 2009 schloss sich der Ort Joice, am 14. Juni 2010 schlossen sich Forest City und Ventura dem Fahrradverein an.
