Ease (englisch für „Leichtigkeit“, „Bequemlichkeit“) ist ein freies Präsentationsprogramm für die Arbeitsumgebung GNOME. Es ist Bestandteil des losen Büro-Software-Paketes GNOME Office.

Ease braucht mit seinem sehr einfachen und übersichtlichen Aufbau besonders wenig Einarbeitungszeit. Zur Erstellung neuer Präsentationen werden verschiedene Vorlagen angeboten. Es können Bilder und Videos eingebunden werden. Passende Medieninhalte können direkt aus der Programmoberfläche heraus in den Angeboten von Online-Plattformen wie Flickr oder Open Clip Art gesucht werden. Ergebnisse können in PDF, PostScript oder HTML exportiert werden.[1]

Initiiert wurde das Projekt von Nate Stedman im Mai 2010. Im Sommer stieß Stéphane Maniaci hinzu, der im Rahmen eines Stipendiums des Google Summer of Code an dem Projekt mitarbeitete.

Ease wird als freie Software auch im Quelltext unter den Bedingungen von Version 3 der GNU General Public License (GPL) verbreitet.

Es wird in der Programmiersprache Vala entwickelt und nutzt GTK+ für die Benutzeroberfläche und Clutter für die Darstellung von Animationen.
