Craig Walton (* 10. Oktober 1975 in Ulverstone) ist ein australischer Triathlet.

Werdegang

Der sechsmalige Weltcup-Sieger hatte auch an der olympischen Premiere im Jahr 2000 in Sydney teilgenommen. Der gebürtige Tasmanier gewann bei der WM in Perth im Jahr 2000 Bronze und war zudem sechsmal beim traditionellen Noosa-Triathlon erfolgreich.

2008 erklärte er seinen Rückzug vom aktiven Triathlon-Geschehen.[1] Im September 2010 kehrte er wieder zurück und startete seitdem wieder bei Triathlon-Bewerben.[2] Sein Spitzname ist „Waldo“. Er trainiert die Triathletin Emma Snowsill.
