Die Communication World ist eine zweitägige Kongressmesse der Messe München GmbH zum Thema intelligente und flexible mobile IT für Unternehmen. Beleuchtet werden mobile Strategien und Technologien, Lösungen für Mitarbeiter sowie zur Kundenansprache. Darüber hinaus werden mobile Lösungen im Branchenkontext präsentiert: z.B. aus den Bereichen Automotive, Gesundheit, Tourismus, Handel und Verwaltung. Die Communication World ging erstmals im Jahr 2002 als UMTS-Konferenz, begleitend zur ehemaligen IT-Messe Systems, an den Start. Nach dem Ende Systems 2008 wurde die Communication World nicht fortgesetzt. Ab 2011 findet nun die Communication World jährlich im M,O,C, in München statt.[1]

Thematisch ist die Communication World 2011 auf folgende Bereiche ausgerichtet

  • Mobile Technologien und Strategien: Infrastruktur / Netze / LTE, Security, Payment / NFC, eMobility / traffic / automotive, Plattform-Trends, Smart Devices, Multiplattform-Entwicklung
  • Mobile Lösungen für Mitarbeiter: Mobile Cloud / Collaboration, Mobility Management, Mobile Business-Software (ERP, etc.), Mobile Business Automation (RFID, M2M), Smart Business Apps, eLearning
  • Mobile Lösungen zur Kundenansprache: Mobile Marketing / CRM, Mobile Services, eCommerce, Social Networking / Customer focused Learning
  • Mobile Lösungen im Branchenkontext: Bürgerservices / mGoverment, Handel, Banken & Finanzwesen
