ChildFund Alliance

ChildFund Allaince ist eine internationale nichtstaatliche Organisation für Entwicklungszusammenarbeit mit schwerpunkt Kinder- und jugendorientierte Projekte. Die Organisation leistet auf dem Hintergrund der christlichen Nächstenliebe Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe in wirtschaftlich weniger entwickelten Ländern. Die Projekte werden meistens über Kinderpatenschaften finanziert.

Die wichtigsten Zielen sind eine umfassende Grundversorgung in den Bereichen Ernährung, Gesundheit und Bildung sowie die Hinführung zu einer dauerhaften Eigenständigkeit.

Die Allianz wurde 2002 von 11 internationalen Kinderhilfsorganisationen als echte Partnerschaft gegründet. Später kam Japan als zwölfter Partner dazu. Heute haben alle Partner gemeinsam einen Umsatz von jährlich 561 Mio USD und fördern Kinder sowie deren Familien in 55 Ländern.[1]
