Case CE ist eine Marke der CNH Global für Baumaschinen und steht abgekürzt für „Case Construction Equipment“. Mit dieser Marke ist CNH der drittgrößte Hersteller von Baumaschinen hinter dem Marktführer Caterpillar (CAT) und Komatsu.

Geschichte

Jerome I. Case gründete seine Firma im Jahre 1842 und stellte seit 1869 Baumaschinen her. 1977 stieg Case bei dem französischen Bagger-Hersteller Poclain mit einer Beteiligung von 40 % ein und übernahm diesen 1988 vollständig.

Im Jahre 1999 übernahm Fiat Case und verschmolz dieses Unternehmen mit dem kurz zuvor übernommenen Anbieter New Holland zu „Case New Holland“, kurz CNH Global.

Die Schwestermarke für Landmaschinen ist seit 1985 Case IH.
