Sie erscheint zehn mal pro Jahr im Verlag VS Medien[1], und richtet sich hauptsächlich an Sportschützen und Dienstwaffenträger. Sie berichtet regelmäßig über Neuerungen der Waffentechnik, z.B. von der Internationalen Waffen-Ausstellung (IWA) in Nürnberg oder der Shot Show in Las Vegas.

Die Redakteure sind durch ihre persönliche Präsenz auf Schießsportmeisterschaften bekannt[2], und zeichnen sich aus durch besonders praxisbezogene Berichte über die getesteten Ausrüstungsgegenstände aus.[3]
