Der Cardiff Airport (IATA: CWL, ICAO: EGFF; walisisch Maes Awyr Caerdydd) ist der internationale Verkehrsflughafen der walisischen Hauptstadt Cardiff. Er ist der größte Flughafen von Wales.

Während des Zweiten Weltkrieges nutzte die Royal Air Force die Anlage unter dem Namen RAF Rhoose als Aussenlandplatz zum Pilotentraining der nahegelegenen Station RAF Llandow.

Fluggesellschaften und Ziele

Cardiff verfügt neben Verbindungen zu Zielen innerhalb des Vereinigten Königreichs und einigen europäischen Städtezielen hauptsächlich über Routen zu Urlaubsdestinationen im Mittelmeerraum wie Palma und Antalya. Langstreckenflüge werden nicht angeboten.

Einziges deutschsprachiges Ziel war seit 2010 München, dass durch bmibaby bedient wurde. Diese Verbindung wurde jedoch, noch bevor die Basis der Gesellschaft in Cardiff im Herbst 2011 ohnehin geschlossen wurde, wieder eingestellt.
