Butterscotch

Butterscotch ist eine Süßware, die im Wesentlichen aus braunem Zucker und Butter[1] hergestellt wird. Je nach Rezept können weitere Zutaten hinzukommen, so zum Beispiel Sahne, Sirup, Zitronensaft, Vanille oder eine Prise Salz[2]. Das Rezept ähnelt dem von Toffee[3].

Butterscotch wird als Geschmacksrichtung für weitere Produkte verwendet, z.B. für Pudding oder Likör.
