Brush Electrical Engineering

Die Brush Electrical Engineering Co. Ltd. war ein britischer Automobil- und Elektrotechnikhersteller in Loughborough (Leicestershire). Automobile wurden dort von 1902 bis 1904 gefertigt.

1902 erschien der Brush 10 hp mit Zweizylinder-Reihenmotor von Abeille mit 1,0 l Hubraum. Das Fahrgestell hatte einen Radstand von 1.981 mm.

1903 wurde dieses erste Modell von drei weiteren Modellen abgelöst. Alle waren mit Vierzylindermotoren von Abeille ausgestattet und besaßen einen Radstand von 2.184 mm. Sie wurden als Brush 12 hp, Brush 16 hp und Brush 20 hp verkauft.

1904 kam als letztes Modell ein Einzylinderwagen heraus, der Brush 5 hp. Er besaß 2.057 mm Radstand und alle vier Räder waren an Schraubenfedern aufgehängt.

Brush kooperierte mit Vauxhall, wobei nicht nur die gleichen Fertigungseinrichtungen genutzt wurden, sondern bei späteren Modellen auch etliche konstruktive Ähnlichkeiten bestanden. Aber bereits 1904 wurde die Automobilherstellung aufgeben.
