Birtha

Birtha (ital.: Birta) ist ein Titularbistum der römisch-katholischen Kirche.

Es geht zurück auf einen untergegangenen Bischofssitz in der gleichnamigen antiken Stadt (heute Birecik) in der römischen Provinz Mesopotamia bzw. in der Spätantike Osrhoene in der Türkei. Der Bischofssitz war der Kirchenprovinz Edessa zugeordnet.
