Arnold Motor Carriage

Arnold ist ein ehemaliger britischer Hersteller von Automobilen.

Unternehmensgeschichte

Das Unternehmen Arnold Motor Carriage Co von William Arnold begann 1895 in East Peckham mit der Produktion von Automobilen. Bereits 1898 wurde die Produktion wieder eingestellt.

Fahrzeuge

Die Modelle ähnelten den frühen Modellen von Benz, waren allerdings mit Motoren eigener Fertigung ausgestattet, die im Heck angeordnet waren. Es gab die Karosserieformen zweisitziger Phaeton und viersitziger Dos-à-Dos, bei dem die Passagiere Rücken an Rücken saßen.

Ein Fahrzeug dieser Marke ist im National Motor Museum in Beaulieu zu besichtigen. Es nimmt gelegentlich am London Brighton Run in England teil.
