Agricultural Industry Electronics Foundation

Die Agricultural Industry Electronics Foundation wurde am 28. Oktober 2008 von sieben internationalen Landmaschinenherstellern und zwei Verbänden gegründet. Die Initiative ist eine unabhängige, internationale Branchenorganisation. Als Anwender-Plattform stellt sie für die verstärkte Nutzung der Elektronik in der Landwirtschaft Ressourcen und Know-how bereit. Schwerpunkt sind zunächst wichtige Themenfelder im Rahmen von ISOBUS.

Die AEF ist offen für alle interessierten Kreise aus dem Bereich Elektronik und wird durch die Gründungsmitglieder finanziert. Rund 50 Unternehmen, Verbände und Organisationen sind bereits Mitglied und arbeiten innerhalb der AEF aktiv mit.

Die AEF wird die zur Einführung landwirtschaftlicher Elektronik-Standards notwendige ständige Förderung und Unterstützung bereitstellen, nachdem sie entwickelt und von der internationalen Gemeinschaft, vertreten durch die International Organization for Standardization (ISO) angenommen wurden. In ihr sind mittlerweile über 150 Länder vertreten.

Projektgruppen

Die AEF hat sieben wichtige Projekte identifiziert und definiert die sofort in Angriff zu nehmen waren. Für jedes dieser Projekte ist eine internationale, aus Angehörigen der Mitgliedfirmen zusammengesetzte Arbeitsgruppe dabei Lösungen zu suchen. Bei diesen sieben Projekten handelt es sich um:

  • Projektgruppe 1: Konformitätstest
  • Projektgruppe 2: Funktionssicherheit
  • Projektgruppe 3: Technische Umsetzung
  • Projektgruppe 4: Service und Fehlerdiagnose
  • Projektgruppe 5: Automatische Ablaufsteuerung (Sequence Control)
  • Projektgruppe 6: Kommunikation und Marketing
  • Projektgruppe 7: Hochvolt-Bordnetze
