Bolloré ist ein französischer Mischkonzern mit Firmensitz in Puteaux, Frankreich. Er wurde im Jahr 1822 von René Bolloré gegründet und trug zeitweise den Namen Odet Cascadec Bolloré (OCB). Die Anzahl der Beschäftigten weltweit betrug im Jahr 2009 ca. 33.000. Im Geschäftsjahr 2009 betrug der weltweite Umsatz ca. 6,011 Mrd. EUR[1].

Zu den Betätigungsfeldern des Konzerns gehört u.a. die Mineralölwirtschaft; in diesem Bereich ist das Unternehmen der zweitgrößte französische Marktteilnehmer. In Deutschland, in den Niederlanden und in der Schweiz unterhält Bolloré 71 Tankstellen, die unter dem Namen Calpam firmieren. Bolloré ist ebenfalls in den Bereichen der Papierherstellung und der Logistik tätig. Bekannt sind insbesondere die Zigarettenpapiere unter dem Markennamen OCB.

Eine Erklärung des früheren Firmennamens Odet Cascadec Bolloré: Odet ist ein Fluss in der Bretagne und Cascadec ist der Name einer Mühle, die in der Nähe des zweiten Werkes stand.

Derzeitiger Firmenchef ist Vincent Bolloré.

Batterien und Elektroautotochter batScap

Mit der EDF (20%) hat Bolloré (80%) das Tochterunternehmen batScap gegründet, das Lithium-Polymer-Akkumulatoren und Elektroautos entwickleln und herstellen soll.[2] Erstes Automobilentwicklungsprojekt ist der Bluecar.
