Bjarkøy ist eine Kommune in der nordnorwegischen Provinz (Fylke) Troms.

Das Gebiet der Kommune verteilt sich auf mehrere kleine Inseln im Nordmeer und auf die Nordhälfte der Insel Grytøya, deren Südhälfte zur Gemeinde Harstad gehört. Die Bewohner verteilen sich auf einige kleine Küstensiedlungen. Verwaltungssitz ist die Siedlung auf der namensgebenden Insel Bjarkøy.

Bjarkøy ist eine alte Wikingersiedlung. Von hier stammte Tore Hund, der 1030 König Olav den Heiligen, den Schutzpatron Norwegens, in der Schlacht von Stiklestad tötete.
