Zygmunt Mycielski

Zygmunt Mycielski (* 17. August 1907 in Przeworsk; † 5. August 1987 in Warschau) war ein polnischer Komponist.

Mycielski war Schüler von Karol Szymanowski und seit 1928 an der École Normale de Musique von Nadia Boulanger und Paul Dukas. Von 1946 bis 1968 arbeitete er mit Unterbrechungen bei der Musikzeitschrift Ruch Muzyczny.

Neben zwei Balletten komponierte er sechs Sinfonien, ein Klavierkonzert, kammermusikalische Werke, eine Kantate, Chorwerke, Lieder, Film- und Schauspielmusiken.
