Yang Yang (chinesisch 楊 揚 / 杨 扬 Yáng Yáng; * 24. August 1976 in Harbin) ist eine erfolgreiche chinesische Shorttrack-Läuferin. Im Allgemeinen wird sie als Yang Yang (A) aufgeführt, um sie von der chinesischen Shorttrack-Athletin Yang Yang (S) (* 1977) zu unterscheiden. Der Buchstabe A steht dabei für ihren Geburtsmonat August.
Yang Yang gewann bei den Olympischen Spielen 2002 in Salt Lake City Gold im Shorttrack in den Rennen über 500 und über 1000 Meter, der Erfolg über 500 Meter bedeutete die erste chinesische Goldmedaille bei Olympischen Winterspielen.
Bei den Olympischen Winterspielen 2006 in Turin trug sie während der Eröffnungsfeier die chinesische Fahne. Im Rennen über 1000 Meter gewann sie dort die Bronzemedaille.
Yang Yang ist außerdem Athletensprecherin bei der World Anti-Doping Agency und Athletenbotschafterin der Entwicklungshilfeorganisation Right to Play. Seit 2010 ist Yang Yang Mitglied des Internationalen Olympischen Komitees.
