XML Professional Publisher (XPP) ist ein Computerprogramm von XyEnterprise zur automatischen Erstellung von hochqualitativen Dokumenten im PostScript- oder PDF-Format aus XML-Daten. Wichtige Eigenschaften sind die Beschränkung auf Standardformate, die beispiellos hohe Durchsatzrate und die Möglichkeit, neben XML weitere Eingabeformate wie SGML, HTML oder Datenbank-Material zu verstehen.

XPP unterstützt die neuesten internationalen Standards wie SGML, XML, MathML, XSLT, XPath, XSL-FO und SVG. Die Unicode-Zeichentabelle ist vollständig umgesetzt, so dass alle europäischen und viele asiatische Sprachen wie Chinesisch, Japanisch und Koreanisch zur Verwendung kommen können.

Mit XPP wird eine große Vielfalt an Publikationen hergestellt, darunter insbesondere technische Dokumentationen, Fachzeitschriften, Verzeichnisse und Wörterbücher. Das System eignet sich auch zum Satz komplexer Formeln, so dass es auch für physikalische Zeitschriften wie den Physical Review Letters zum Einsatz kommt. Prinzipiell erreicht XPP den Funktionsumfang von LaTeX.

Das sog. XPP Web Services Development Kit bietet einen vollen Zugriff auf das automatisierte Erstellen von Dokumenten über standardisierte API, sodass prinzipiell jeder Nutzer mit einem WWW-Anzeigeprogramm darauf zugreifen kann.
