World66

Das Webprojekt World66 ist ein Online-Reiseführer und zurzeit der größte seiner Art.

Das niederländische Internetforum basiert (wie Wikipedia) auf Open Content, ist aber inhaltlich auf Reise und Tourismus beschränkt. Alle Einträge sind in Englischer Sprache und können von Nutzern verfasst oder geändert werden. Aufbau und Struktur sind dem bekannten Lonely Planet sehr ähnlich.

Die Seite wurde im Jahre 1999 als osinga.com von den Brüdern Richard und Douwe Osinga gegründet, wurde aber noch im gleichen Jahr in World66 umbenannt.

World66 verzeichnet mehr als 70.000 Artikel zu über 13.500 Destinationen.
