Wollo oder Wällo (Amharisch ወሎ) ist eine historische Provinz im Nordosten Äthiopiens. Ihre Hauptstadt war Dessie.

Die Provinz war nach den Wollo-Oromo benannt, die seit dem 17. Jahrhundert hier siedelten. Nach dem Ende der italienischen Besatzung Äthiopiens 1941 wurden die Provinzen Amhara Saynt, Azabo, Lasta, Raya, Wag und Yejju an Wollo angegliedert.[1] Mit der Neuordnung der äthiopischen Verwaltungsgliederung mit der neuen Verfassung 1995 wurde Wollo aufgeteilt: Der westliche, im Hochland von Abessinien gelegene Teil der Provinz liegt heute in der Region Amhara, während der zur Afar-Senke zählende Ostteil zur Afar-Region gehört. Ihr Name lebt heute in den Bezeichnungen der Zonen Semien Wollo und Debub Wollo (Nord- und Süd-Wollo) in der Amhara-Region fort.
