Wesley C. Salmon

Wesley C. Salmon (* 1925; † 22. April 2001) war ein zeitgenössischer Philosoph, der sich besonders Problemen der Metaphysik, Logik und Wissenschaftstheorie widmete. Zu Fragen der Kausalität leistete er wesentliche Beiträge.

Salmon lehrte an der Indiana University Bloomington und der University of Pittsburgh. Seinen PhD in Philosophie erlangte er unter Hans Reichenbach. Er starb bei einem Autounfall.
