Die Washington Redskins sind ein American-Football-Team aus Washington D.C., das in der National Football League (NFL) spielt. Die Redskins spielen dort in der National Football Conference (NFC), in der Eastern Division.

Die Redskins gewannen mit ihrem Trainer Joe Gibbs und drei verschiedenen Quarterbacks (Joe Theismann, Doug Williams und Mark Rypien) zwischen 1982 und 1991 drei Super Bowls.
