Handlung

Alberta lebt in einer Kleinstadt und arbeitet in einem Lebensmittelgeschäft. Sie wohnt mit Celene zusammen, die sich als Domina betätigt. Alberta verdächtigt ihre Mitbewohnerin zunehmend, diese würde eine falsche Identität benutzen.

Kritiken

David Nusair schrieb auf Reel Film Reviews, der Film sei „gut gespielt“, die Regie sichere ihm Stil. Das „leblose“ Drehbuch sei jedoch „hoffnungslose Routine“. Dem klischeehaften Charakter von Alberta fehle jegliche Authentizität.[1]

Hintergründe

Der Film wurde in Vancouver und in Winnipeg gedreht.[2] Seine Weltpremiere fand am 11. September 2007 auf dem Toronto International Film Festival 2007 statt. Am 22. September 2007 wurde er auf dem Calgary Film Festival gezeigt.[3]
