Der Name Brüder-Unität (lateinisch: Unitas fratrum, tschechisch: Jednota Bratrská) bezieht sich auf zwei Erscheinungen der Kirchengeschichte, die miteinander in Beziehung stehen.

  • Böhmische Brüder, eine evangelische Kirche, die sich 1457 aus Anhängern des tschechischen Reformators Jan Hus bildete.
  • die Herrnhuter Brüdergemeine, die sich 1722 aus Nachkommen der Anhänger dieser Kirche bildete.
