Tsifteteli, (eig. ausgespr."Tschifteteli", türkisch: Çiftetelli "mit zwei Saiten" von "Çift"- Paar, "tel"- Saite und "-li"- mit) griechisch τσιφτετέλι, ist ein türkischer/griechischer traditioneller orientalischer Tanz im 2/4-Takt. Er ist ein freier Tanz ohne vorgeschriebene Schrittfolgen und Bewegungen mit einem typischen Stil.

Tsifteteli ist eine griechische Entlehnung des türkischen Wortes Çiftetelli, was „zwei-saitig“ (bezogen auf eine spezifische Violinspieltechnik) oder „sich wie eine Schlange bewegen“ bedeutet. Dieser Tanz ist in der Türkei und in Griechenland sowie im ganzen ehemaligen Gebiet des Osmanischen Reiches verbreitet.

Ein Beispiel für einen Tsifteteli ist das Lied Misirlou, (Türkisch: Mısırlı "Ägypter/in" = Mısır: Ägypten, -lı: -aus) welches weit nach seiner Entstehung vom Surf-Gitarristen Dick Dale in einer veränderten Rock-Version aufgenommen wurde.
