Tito Okello

Tito Okello (* 1914; † 3. Juni 1996) war von Juli 1985 bis Januar 1986 das Staatsoberhaupt Ugandas. Er war der Nachfolger von Bazilio Olara Okello, der nach dem Sturz Milton Obotes für zwei Tage Staatsoberhaupt war. Im Januar 1986 wurde er von der National Resistance Army unter dem heutigen Präsidenten Yoweri Kaguta Museveni gestürzt.

Sein Sohn Henry Oryem Okello ist derzeit Minister für Erziehung und Sport.
