Handlung

Die Amerikanerin Faith begeht am Anfang der 1970er Jahre während einer Europareise Selbstmord. Im Jahr 1977 fährt ihre 18jährige Schwester Phoebe nach Europa, um etwas über Faith zu erfahren. In Paris lernt sie den einstigen Freund von Faith Wolf kennen.

Wolf erzählt Phoebe über die radikalen politischen Aktivitäten ihrer Schwester. Phoebe fährt nach Portugal, wo Faith starb.

Kritiken

  • Carla Meyer schrieb in der San Francisco Chronicle, dass Cameron Diaz eingeschränkte schauspielerische Fähigkeiten habe, was ihr in der Rolle der jugendlichen Terroristin behilflich sei. Die Darstellung von Jordana Brewster sei unglaubwürdig. Der Film zeige die persönliche und die familiäre Instabilität.
