Die Deutsche Schule Portland (The German American School of Portland, Abkürzung GSP) ist eine Deutsche Schule in Beaverton bei Portland (Oregon), USA.
Sie wurde 1995 gegründet und umfasst die Klassenstufen 1 bis 5. Die Unterrichtssprache ist Deutsch und Englisch. Der Schule sind eine Vorschule und ein Kindergarten angegliedert. Der Schulleiter, Blake Peters ist US-Amerikaner, der u.a. in Erlangen studiert hat. [1]. Die Lehrer haben überwiegend Deutsch als Muttersprache.
Im Schuljahr 2006/2007 hatte die Schule etwa 130 Schüler.[2] Die Deutsche Schule Portland wird von der Bundesrepublik Deutschland finanziell wie personell gefördert. Im Schuljahr 2006/2007 betrug die finanzielle Förderung etwa 71.000 US-Dollar.
