The Allisons waren ein britisches Gesangsduo, das zu Beginn der 1960er Jahre erfolgreich war und insbesondere durch ihren zweiten Platz beim Eurovision Song Contest 1961 bekannt wurde.

Die beiden Sänger wuchsen zusammen in London auf. Nach ersten musikalischen Gehversuchen in einem Kirchenchor gewannen sie 1960 einen Talentwettbewerb und 1961 bekamen sie die Chance, für England am sechsten Eurovision Song Contest teilzunehmen. Mit dem Song "Are You Sure?" kamen sie in Großbritannien auf den zweiten Platz.[1] In den deutschen Single-Charts erreichte der Titel Platz 11.[2] Mit diesem Song hatten sie einen Millionenseller geschaffen. 1961 erschien in Großbritannien auch ihre einzige LP Are You Sure?.[3]

Danach erschienen noch zwei weitere Singles, "Words" 1961 und "Lessons in Love" 1962, denen aber kein besonderer Erfolg mehr beschieden war.
