Tarifit (Eigenbezeichnung Tamazight Tarifit, spanisch: Rifeño) ist eine hauptsächlich in Marokko gesprochene Berbersprache mit zirka 4,5 Millionen Sprechern (2000).

Das Hauptverbreitungsgebiet liegt mit 3,5 Millionen Sprechern in Marokko, insbesondere in der Rif-Küstenregion. Mit Taschelhit und Tamazight ist Tarifit dort die wichtigste Berbersprache.

Etwa 1 Million Tarifit-Sprecher leben in westeuropäischen Staaten wie Deutschland, Frankreich, Spanien, und den Benelux-Staaten (marokkanische Immigranten).
