System Dynamics Group

Eine System Dynamics Group ist eine Gruppe von Forschern mit einschlägiger Ausbildung in der Methodik System Dynamics, welche sich mit der Verbreitung und Weiterentwicklung der Methodik befasst.

Die erste System Dynamics Group wurde Anfang der 60er-Jahre des 20. Jahrhunderts von Jay W. Forrester an der Sloan School of Management des MIT gegründet.

Eine weitere System Dynamics Group wurde an der Universität St. Gallen (HSG) gegründet. Sie ist eingegliedert in das Institut für Betriebswirtschaft der School of Management der Universität St. Gallen. Die HSG System Dynamics Group fördert sowohl die Grundlagen- als auch die Anwendungsforschung.
