London Borough of Southwark [ˈsʌðək] ist ein Stadtbezirk von London, der unmittelbar südlich der City of London liegt. Der Bezirk wurde 1965 bei der Gründung von Greater London aus den Bezirken Bermondsey, Camberwell und Southwark der ehemaligen County of London gebildet.

Langenhagen ist Partnerstadt. In Southwark ist der Anteil der Schwarzen an der Gesamtbevölkerung am höchsten (vor allem Einwanderer aus Jamaika und anderen Karibik-Staaten). Die Bevölkerung setzt sich zusammen aus 63,0 % Weißen, 25,9 % Schwarzen, 4,1 % Südasiaten und 1,8 % Chinesen.

Southwark ist außerdem der Ausgangspunkt für die in Geoffrey Chaucers Canterbury Tales beschriebene Pilgerreise nach Canterbury.
