Stimorol

Stimorol ist ein 1915 durch Holger Sorensen gegründeter Süßwarenhersteller mit Sitz in Vejle (Dänemark). Das Unternehmen ist durch sein Hauptprodukt, die Stimorol-Kaugummis bekannt.

Geschichte

Die Firma begann als Süßwarenhersteller, die Kaugummis wurden 1956 auf den Markt gebracht. Sie wurden zunächst nur in Skandinavien verkauft, sind aber nun in ganz Europa erhältlich. Im Jahr 1978 wurde eine zuckerfreie Version auf den Markt gebracht, seit den 1990er Jahren gibt es unterschiedliche Geschmacksrichtungen. Die Firma wurde 2002 von Cadbury-Schweppes aufgekauft.

Sonstiges

Stimorol-Kaugummis sind auch Bestandteil der EPa der Bundeswehr.
