Soga no Iruka

Soga no Iruka (jap. 蘇我 入鹿; * ?; † 10. Juli 645) war ein Staatsmann in der Yamato-Zeit von Japan.

Iruka war Sohn von Soga no Emishi. Er wurde von Kronprinz Naka no Ōe (später Kaiser Tenji) und Fujiwara no Kamatari während des Isshi-Zwischenfalls vor den Augen der Kaiserin Kogyoku ermordet.

Emishi beging am Tag darauf Suizid und der Hauptzweig des Soga-Clans starb damit aus.

Am 13. November 2005 wurden die Überreste des Anwesens von Soga no Iruka in Asuka entdeckt.[1]
