Shirley Henderson (* 24. November 1965 in Kincardine, Schottland) ist eine schottische Schauspielerin. Sie ist die älteste von drei Töchtern einer Arbeiterfamilie. International wird sie oft mit der Rolle der Maulenden Myrte aus den Harry-Potter-Filmen assoziiert.

Ihre Karriere begann Henderson singend in einigen lokalen Clubs und wurde dann später an der Londoner Guildhall School of Music and Drama ausgebildet, an der sie sich für eine Rolle in der populären BBC-Serie Hamish Macbeth empfahl. Des Weiteren hatte sie Auftritte in vielen Produktionen des Royal National Theatre in London.

Sie spielte im irischen Film Intermission (2003), in dem irische Größen wie Colin Farrell, Colm Meaney und Cillian Murphy auftraten, in vielen britischen TV-Programmen und -Miniserien und verkörperte in der erfolgreichen BBC-Science-Fiction-Serie Doctor Who die Rolle der Ursula Blake in der Episode Love & Monsters.

Ihre bis jetzt beachtlichsten Darstellungen hatte Henderson in den TV-Mini-Serien The Way We Live Now (2001) als Marie Melmotte, als Catherine of Braganza in Charles II: The Power and the Passion (2003) und als Charlotte in Dirty Filthy Love (2004).
